Nice vid, it made me to think back what I have done. I do leave the computer w/o turning it off for the whole week and those electricity used by it was generated from burned charcoal.

this video can rising the awareness in human being of what they have done before.

before technology comes where there were no electricity at all, our world is still clean without bad pollution. but when the technology becomes better, the environment becomes more polluted.

people should aware with these problems. we are not supposed to only concern with the progress only, but the environment too...

I do believe that nuclear energy can somehow prevent energy crisis and might be the solution for global warming. However a lot of research has to be done in term of managing the hazardous radioactive waste.

For this past few weeks i'm keep complaining about the outside temperature. Now it is around 32-37 degree celcius. We said we want to fight the global warming,we want to go green, but at the same time we still contribute for the global warming.

Good show.
Yes,nuclear energy is the answer. There is no emission of CO2 and carbon free. While we upgrading technology of producing more electric or hybrid car,why don't we massively spend in nuclear technology,as it gives benefit to not just human,it benefits the earth as well.

Now that the technology is evolving and becoming more sophisticated, we the human should make use of it to prevent global warming and to improve the environment quality.
However, nuclear power is viewed by the Greenpeace as a minor industry with major problems such as inflicting damage to environment and uranium mining risks, nuclear weapons proliferation and nuclear waste unresolved problems. Greenpeace argues that nuclear power's potential to mitigate global warming is marginal, referring ti the IEA energy scenario where an increase in world's nuclear capacity from 2608 TWh in 2007 to 9857 TWh by 2050 would cut global greenhouse gas emission less than 5% and at require 32 nuclear reactor units of 1000MW capacity built per year until 2050.
In short, we still can prevent global warming and save the earth via improving technologies. And nuclear power as well.

this is an eye opener, scientists and engineers around the world are working hard to develop electric cars but they forget the source of the electricity. hydrogen fuel cell is a better source i think now after watching this video, as power generation which contributwes most to global warming however, they missed another major source which is farming animals for meat such as cattle and cow which is also a major producers of methane gas.

The world now should focusing on using nuclear energy as it is the best answer to go greener. It is carbon free and the best solution for our current global warming. Spend on this energy as it brings benefit for us and the next generation.

in my opinion, actually people individually should takes place to help to heal our mother earth.. because our earth is not only being polluted by those technologies only, surely because of us.. don't feel good at open burning and so on.. so, we individually have our responsibility..

From an article:
Nuclear power has more than just a little greenhouse gas attached to it, when mining uranium ore, refining and enriching fuel, building the plant, and operating it are included. A big 1,250 megawatt plant produces the equivalent of 250,000 tons of carbon dioxide a year during its life, Dr. Fritsche says, a researcher at the Öko Institut in Darmstadt, Germany.

So which one is true? Is NPP considered as TOTALLY GREEN energy?

By the way, that was an awesome video :)

Hey there.

What an eye opener video. Looking at those pictures make me think that we should stop using natural resources energy right away. Due to carbon dioxide emission, our earth is going to experience global warming in the future. And we need to do something about it. If nuclear energy is the answer to the whole problem, then it is no longer an option to us but a MUST.

To me, i cant wait for the hydrogen fuel cars. Another great way to save the earth and we can gain hydrogen fuel by using nuclear energy.

Thank You

Like TNB's saying..."Think Nuclear, Think Green" :D

Yeah, i totally support that. Nuclear energy is indeed a clean reliable source. But, if and only if all the relevant aspects are taken care of. Such as the safety in which it processes, the security of the plant, waste management from it, and a professional workforce in operating the NPPs. Only then, when all of these factors are taken account...can it be a clean and reliable energy source, like what it is well publicized to be.
Aint that right? :D

To go greener, nuclear anergy is not the best solution. Please look out for solar energy. It is more cleaner and doesnt need fuel at all to operate. It is more greener if we can apply solar power system trough out the country. One might said that how about when its raining seasons and at night??The answer is that the solar power system have battery to store solar energy during the day and can be use during rainig seasons and at night..:)

And now we really hope that nuclear energy will be a solution to all this. Even though i believe its not easy to handle NPP but its a step needed by the government to take. And i hope that everyone malaysian will be hand to hand realizing this dream!

From my understanding green is sustainability, its the ability for something human made to sustain by itself, thus we as the inhabitants of this one earth should practice being sustainable by teaching our children how to plant our own food, how to create so that there will be minimal impact towards our earth.

It doesn't have to be totally green to be a green technology, but at least it is the greenest among all. Nuclear power is the greenest. Hydro power is green, but deforestation?People condemn about it. Solar? Its just insufficient especially during the night. Wind turbine? Is Malaysia windy enough throughout the year? Or maybe building them on the shore of Teluk Cempedak? Not a good idea i guess.
